Clayton & McKervey noted by Inside Public Accounting for its High Percentage of Women Shareholders

Southfield, Mich.—October 3, 2017— Clayton & McKervey, an international certified public accounting and business advisory firm located in metro Detroit, is pleased to announce it has been recognized by Inside Public Accounting, a leading accounting trade publication, for being among the top 10 accounting firms in its size category with the highest percentage of female owners.
Inside Public Accounting (IPA) looked at female ownership within the ranks of its largest accounting firm categories based on size: the IPA 100, IPA 200 and IPA 300. In August, 2017, Clayton & McKervey was noted in the IPA 300 category. IPA then reviewed each firm to select 30 firms – 10 each in the IPA 100, IPA 200 and IPA 300 – with the highest percentage of female owners.
In reporting the findings, Inside Public Accounting noted these firms have made development, advancement and retention of women a priority and said the honor is noteworthy, as the profession has long struggled with increasing the number of women in its partnership ranks despite the fact that more than half of the accounting labor pool is comprised of women.
